“We’ve Never Not Found a Well”
It’s true. We’ve located wells in driveways, behind garages, under patios, inside sheds, and even one under a koi pond.
If it’s there, we’ll find it.

Well & Line Location – Frequently Asked Questions
How do you find a buried wellhead?
We use professional electronic locating tools. For metallic lines we inject a signal and trace it from the surface; for plastic or non-metallic piping we use inductive tracing. That lets us pinpoint the wellhead and the line path precisely – without digging test holes or guessing.
Will you have to dig up my yard?
No. The whole point of electronic locating is that we find the well and lines without tearing up your property. Once we’ve traced everything, we can mark the path on the surface so any future digging is precise and safe.
Why can’t I just use my old property survey?
Old surveys and sketches are often off by 10 to 20 feet or more, especially after landscaping, additions, or new driveways. Digging based on a drawing is how lines and wiring get damaged. We locate the real thing as it sits today.
Why would I need my well located?
Common reasons: you’re buying or selling and need the well found for a Board of Health inspection, you’re servicing or upgrading the pump, tank, or filtration, you’re planning construction, fencing, or excavation and need to avoid the lines, or you’re chasing a pressure problem, leak, or frozen section.
Can you mark the well and line for future reference?
Yes. We can add permanent marker flags or painted surface indicators so you, or anyone working on the property later, knows exactly where the wellhead and line path are.
What if you still can’t find it?
In our experience, that hasn’t happened – we’ve found wells in driveways, under patios, inside sheds, and even under a koi pond. If it’s on your property, we have the tools and the experience to locate it.
