Established in 1910 by Charles Frederick Kappus, C.F. Kappus Plumbing has stood as a beacon of excellence in the industry for over a century. Starting in Mt. Vernon, NY, Charles Frederick Kappus Sr. laid the foundation of our enduring legacy.

In 1938, the baton of leadership was passed to Charles Frederick Kappus Jr., who continued the family’s tradition of exceptional service. Steadfast dedication and unwavering commitment remained at the core of our operations.

A pivotal moment arrived in 1968 when the company transitioned to David Kappus, marking a new chapter of growth and expansion. In 1974, recognizing the growing demands and seeking to serve a broader community, David relocated the company to Putnam
Valley, NY.

In 1998, the company was officially incorporated as “C.F. Kappus Pumps & Plumbing” doing business as “The Pump Man,” reflecting our specialized expertise and the trust we had earned. Partners David Kappus Sr. and son Paul Kappus stood at the helm, steering
the company forward.

An impactful milestone emerged in 2013 when sole ownership and stewardship of C.F. Kappus Pumps & Plumbing was entrusted to Paul Kappus. With a rich heritage in the business, Paul continues to uphold the family’s commitment to excellence, guiding and
operating the business with dedication and pride.

Over the decades, our family-owned and operated business has not only evolved but thrived. With a focus on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, we have established ourselves as a trusted name in the industry. Today, we carry forth the values and
